The Fireproof Bag S5 works as a fireproof containment barrier: it is designed to help contain a deflagration and reduce the spread of flames, smoke and projections in the event of a lithium battery incident, both during charging (the highest-risk moment) and during storage. Its vertical design lets you slide the scooter in from the side, without lifting it.

📐 How do you put the scooter into the S5?
The S5 is vertical. The scooter goes in without lifting it: just slide it in from the open side and close with the velcro and fireproof zip. It is the most convenient option for daily use at home or work.
🛡️ What happens if my battery has an incident inside?
The S5 is designed to contain the deflagration and help reduce fire spread. Inner fibreglass layer, anti-shock middle layer and outer fireproof silicone layer. Tested in an independent laboratory against a real thermal runaway, with no flame spread and low smoke emission as a result. It is the containment layer that adds to your smoke detector and your extinguisher.
🔌 Can I charge the scooter inside?
Yes. The S5 has a double bottom opening to pass the charger cable, maintaining protection during charging.

Materials & Construction
Three technical layers:
- Outer layer: high-resistance fireproof silicone
- Middle layer: fireproof anti-shock synthetic fiber
- Inner layer: fireproof fiberglass
Tests and classifications
Thermal runaway. Tested in an independent laboratory by forcing the thermal runaway of four cells of a lithium pack fitted to a scooter, with the vehicle inside the closed bag: no flame escaping to the outside, no rupture of the enclosure and low smoke emission. ATS Electronic Technology, report ATSR240420811 (21/06/2024).
Fire classification. Three-layer complex rated UL 94 V-0, also after ageing at 70 °C for 168 h; outer fabric UL 94 VTM-0. No flaming drips. SGS reports GZIN2008043616PS and GZIN1811058927PS.
Substances. Materials analysed by SGS in accordance with REACH (212 SVHC), RoHS and California Proposition 65.
